\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>This past week, SMS held its first National
\nGeographic Geography Bee.\u00a0 <\/span>The top scorers
\nin each Social Studies class came together to compete with each other.\u00a0 <\/span>Questions were asked, with each student
\nreceiving a point for a correct answer.\u00a0
\n<\/span>After multiple rounds, it came down to a tie breaker.\u00a0 <\/span>8th<\/sup> grader Alexandre Lesieutre won
\nthe Bee with Cohen Brandl taking second place.\u00a0
\n<\/span>Congratulations to both students.\u00a0
\n<\/span>We wish Alexandre well as he moves on in the competition.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
