MORATORIUM WEEK IS JULY 28TH – AUGUST 3RD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No contact between coaches and athletes is allowed during moratorium week; no athletic activities, including conditioning\/practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FALL<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Fall<\/strong> sports include: football, volleyball, cross country, soccer, dance and cheer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Dance and cheer tryouts were in May 2025)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tryouts for Fall sports begin on August 18th.<\/strong> Deadline to register for Fall sports is August 15th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WINTER<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Winter<\/strong> sports include: basketball, wrestling and swimming (dance and cheer continue).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tryouts for Winter sports begin on November 17th.<\/strong> Deadline to register for Winter sports is November 14th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPRING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Spring<\/strong> sports include: track & field, baseball, softball, tennis, golf, lacrosse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tryouts for Spring sports begin on March 2rd.<\/strong> Deadline to register for Spring sports is February 27th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PARTICIPATING ATHLETES NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING PRIOR TO TRYOUTS:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Have a current physical on file in our Athletic Office (physicals must be submitted on the OSAA physical form)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Physicals can be submitted online through our secure upload portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Physicals MUST<\/strong> be completed prior to attending tryouts.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

    Important Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n

    Athletes must have a current physical on file in the athletic office at the high school in order to participate.  Physicals are good for two years and must be done on the OSAA physical form. <\/a>Please email the form to a agillett@sherwood.k12.or.us<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    PARTICIPATION FEE:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Participation fee is $275 per sport and $175 per activity (cheer and dance). There is an individual cap of $675 and a family cap of $1375 per year.  Fees are due prior to the first competition. To pay for athletic fees, log into your ParentVue account or pay directly at the high school bookkeeping office; three month payment contracts are also available.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
