On Monday our district was notified by the Sherwood Police Department of an active investigation into threats made against Middleton Elementary, and that later that morning an adult was taken into custody related to those threats. Last night, SPD released a statement with additional details related to the case; that statement can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our district will continue to work in close collaboration with SPD as this case progresses, and thank Chief Hanlon and all of the SPD officers involved for their efforts in protecting our schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
