This morning our district received a report that one of our bus drivers did not allow two high school students onto a bus because the students did not have face masks. Prior to Limited In-Person Instruction starting in January, the District stocked every bus with a kit containing both child and adult sized disposable masks; our drivers have been trained to offer students a mask from the kit when needed.\u00a0 Upon review this morning, we have determined that the driver failed to offer the students masks from the kit per District protocols.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The District will be retraining all bus drivers on our protocols, including a face-to-face conversation with every bus driver today before afternoon routes begin.
