Dear Parents and Families, <\/span><\/p>\n

Late last night, we were alerted by the City of Sherwood of a potential positive test for cyanotoxin from our water provider, the City of Wilsonville. This is a preliminary test, and has not been confirmed, so there may be no issue at all. Nevertheless, out of an abundance of caution, the Sherwood School District has purchased bottled water, and is in the process of distributing the water to all seven of our schools \u00a0to provide to pre-k through first grade, <\/span>those who are immunocompromised, the elderly and pregnant and nursing mothers.<\/span> \u00a0We’ve been advised that children under 6 and those with compromised immune systems are at risk from cyanotoxin. Older children and adults are not at risk. Accommodations have been made in all schools with regard to food services and preparation of school lunches. <\/span><\/p>\n
