The Sherwood School District is excited to continue our Spanish\/English Dual Language Immersion Program in the Fall of 2023. We will be in our fourth year of the program having a class in 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and an incoming Kindergarten class for the Fall of 2023 . A Dual Language Immersion Program has the goal of promoting bilingualism, bi-literacy, and socio-cultural competence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applications are now open for a new DLI Kindergarten class, with a balance of Native English and Spanish speakers. There may be few slots open in our first grade class as well. If you applied last year, you will remain on the waiting list and do not need to re-apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
